Niko Worth’s eye was punched to a pulp at UFC 249

Fortunately Niko Worth couldn’t see himself within the mirror.

Worth left his welterweight rematch with Vicente Luque at UFC 249 in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday night time together with his proper eye swollen shut after taking a beating within the second and third rounds, together with a tough left hook that left him trying like Sloth from the Goonies.

The ring official stopped the combat at 3:37 of the third spherical, awarding a victory by TKO to Luque, transferring him to 18-7-1, when the cageside doctor decided Worth couldn't see out of his eye. Worth was transported to an area hospital following the combat, based on TSN.

Worth and Luque opened the undercard at an empty Vystar Veterans Memorial Enviornment, as UFC turned the primary skilled sports activities to return amid the coronavirus pandemic within the U.S.

Luque defeated Worth by submission of their first combat in 2017 at UFC Battle Night time 119.
