Hamptons residents are bemoaning that their favourite summer time spot, Sundown Seaside is not going to open this summer time.
Proprietor Andre Balazs stated the modern seasonal beachfront restaurant on Shelter Island has confirmed that it'll not open this 12 months as a result of the always-packed venue doesn't provide the power to apply social distancing, plus the challenges of coaching and housing a seasonal workers – who usually stay in shared lodging.
Balazs instructed the Shelter Island Gazette, “Our primary concern is the well being of our workers and prospects…Security is primary. Not picture, not cash or something.” Balazs stated he hopes to maintain his different properties open, together with The Mercer Resort in Manhattan and the Chateau Marmont in L.A.
