FDNY firefighters rescue child from four-alarm blaze in NYC


This child caught a fortunate break Saturday when firefighters carried him to security after a four-alarm blaze in his Lenox Hill residence.


The hearth erupted round 12:54 p.m. within the basement and first flooring of the five-story residence constructing at 423 E. 70th Avenue, in accordance with the FDNY.


Engine 39 and Ladder 13 responded, getting the hearth below management at round 3:30 p.m., officers stated.


Three minor accidents have been reported, together with one firefighter who was transported to New York Hospital.


A second affected person was taken to NewYork Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in Manhattan, whereas the third declined medical consideration.
