USS Consolation departs New York after aiding in coronavirus battle

The united statesComfort, the Navy Hospital ship President Trump despatched to New York to assist cope with the coronavirus pandemic, started crusing away from Manhattan Thursday, the NYPD mentioned.


“HAPPENING NOW: @USNavy#Consolation pulls out of Pier 90 in Manhattan. The NYPD Harbor Unit, in addition to the @USCG @USCGNortheast will present a safety zone across the hospital ship because it heads down the Hudson River,” the division tweeted.
