Star chef Alain Ducasse claims it’s safer to eat in eating places than at house

Celebrity chef Alain Ducasse has insisted that it's safer to eat in eating places than cook dinner for your self below coronavirus lockdown.

“It’s higher to eat in a restaurant that takes all of the precautions than at house the place you must go to your little native grocery store the place persons are bumping into one another, touching the fruit and never everyone is carrying masks,” the French chef instructed Agence France-Presse.

Ducasse, whose eating places have 17 Michelin stars — essentially the most of any chef on this planet — made his case to France’s President, Emmanuel Macron, on Friday.

He referred to as for a “gradual and accountable” reopening of eating places, saying the lockdown has been “catastrophic” for the trade.

“This could solely final for a number of extra weeks,” he instructed AFP.
