Radio host and journalist for New York Public Radio’s WNYC, Richard Hake, has died on the age of 51. The radio host died instantly at his dwelling on Friday, April 24, based on WNYC Information CEO Goli Sheikholeslami. Hake’s reason for dying has not been but been decided.
Hake labored for WNYC since 1992, and he was the host for the station’s Morning Version. Sheikholeslami shared the information in an announcement on WNYC’s web site:
It’s with a heavy coronary heart that I write to tell you that our beloved colleague and buddy Richard Hake handed away instantly on Friday at dwelling. We're in contact together with his household, and the precise reason for dying hasn’t but been decided.
For all of us at New York Public Radio and in WNYC’s listening group, Richard was one of many first voices we heard each morning.
