Katy Perry isn’t letting coronavirus cease her from having enjoyable.
The “Teenage Dream” singer, 35, stayed on theme whereas taping the primary at-home episode of “American Idol” on Sunday by dressing up as an enormous bottle of hand sanitizer.
Perry defined her over-the-top costume by joking that she needed to be “as secure as doable,” and instructed host Ryan Seacrest that she “will always remember” being pregnant throughout a worldwide pandemic.
The Purell-inspired “music sanitizer” getup was designed by longtime Perry inventive director Johnny Wujek and created by costume designer Shokra and designer Pini.
Perry isn't any stranger to hilarious — and hard-to-maneuver — costumes; she stole the present on the 2020 Met Gala in her Jeremy Scott-designed chandelier outfit on the purple carpet, and later turned into a cheeseburger search for the afterparties.
